It's hump day and I've survived another Monday and Wednesday of Everette' intense training. Monday's workout included more of the boxing while concentrating on my lower body. I had to do a variety of kicks and more of the abs.
Today was another day of boot camp. I think I hate boot camp because of its intensity but I love how I feel after I'm done. We had to run Everette-style suicides and then move to 4 stations each with a unique exercise. After 30 minutes of that, we played a 30 minute, 3 against 2 full court game of basketball, girls against the guys. Running up and down the court is one tough cookie.
Yesterday I wore a pair of jeans that were once fitted but are now loose at the waist and in the thighs. This was encouraging because the scale doesn't show a significant weight loss. Everette asked me to stay away from the scale because it can be misleading. He assured me that I would be losing inches which may not initially show up on the scale.
I pushed myself on monday and Wednesday, and now I'm paying for it. I don't mind though because the cardio is going to help me reach my desired weight. I'm hoping that my being there is also motivating Felicia to be the best she can be. We both need that!
Au revoir for now!
